Laura Medicus, principal and owner

Laura has a tremendous love for art and design and is particularly interested in how homes reflect the personalities of the inhabitants and the story they tell about the lives lived.  She has a particular passion for kitchen design and is a member of NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association).

She holds an MFA in Interior Design from Florida State University and a Bachelor's degree in Art from Towson University.  After graduation, she moved to New York City and worked for both a large architecture and design firm and a small, luxury residential design company.

In 2005, she and her husband moved to Colorado in search of sunshine, mountains and adventure. She worked for another interior design firm in Denver before starting her own business in 2011.  She reads fiction and decorating blogs, loves to travel and draw and through all of these things her love of design and art is present.

"Find joy in everything you choose to do. Every job, relationship, home... it's your responsibility to love it, or change it."  Chuck Palahniuk.
